In Sydney to launch his newest addition to a much loved range, Christophe Robin has released a range of temporary colour gels.

Designed to cover greys, the temporary colour is a gentle, ammonia free formula that washes out between 5-7 washes. Dermatologically tested, and suitable for sensitive scalps, the gels are designed as an easy solution to cover greys between salon visits.

Kathy gilbert, Crown Hair’s colour department Director was excited to learn more about the new arrival to the Christophe Robin range.

“It was great to see Christophe again, as well as the wonderful Maxime – we can’t wait to share this with our clients,” says Kathy.

“It’s new frontier for us – this is a 21st century approach to something that up until now, we believed that home hair colour is the converse opposite to what we stand for,” says Kathy.

There have been products available to cosmetically disguise greys, although the temporary colour gel offers an entirely new, exciting option for people looking to cover greys with a longer lasting product.

“It has beautiful natural pigment as the source of colour. There are four shades and it’s about blending and camouflaging grey hair into natural hair colour, so it’s for people that have a percentage of grey, to take the look of grey hair away,” says Kathy.

Kathy loves that it is easy to use and can even be applied to your hair in salon at Crown, but easy enough to be used at home too, solving the issue of regrowth between salon visits.
