Kathy and Mark trained at a hugely innovative time, when iconic hairdresser Vidal Sassoon had revolutionised the hairdressing industry with the five point cut and the asymmetric bob.

Inspired by art and architecture, his haircuts were beautiful and distinctive. This fresh and daring approach was about a new freedom and modernity and a spirit of collaboration. Vidal was brave enough to keep things simple, and to let each client’s hair and lifestyle inform the hairstyle he created.
