Beautiful, natural looking, healthy hair is quintessential to Parisian style. It’s the motivation of many of French hair and beauty products, and a standard Crown Hair aligns with.

Refreshed and back from her Paris sojourn is our very own Director of Colour, Kathy Gilbert, who shares a little about her trip but mostly about her product “hero” range by French colourist, Christophe Robin.

“I love Paris. It’s one of my favourite places in the world. There’s an effortless beauty that percolates through the city and its people.

The French have an incredible relationship with ‘what’s natural’ and natural ingredients which fascinates me. They really are the ones to be taking notice of when it comes to natural kinds of products.

Of course you can pick up hair products here in health shops that claim to be ‘all natural’ but many I have experienced are disappointing to say the least; certainly nothing like Christophe Robin which for hair is pretty damn incredible.

From my point of view, as a Director of Colour, it’s my hero product and we’re very proud to be the first to stock his range in Australia.

When I was in Paris I went to see Christophe’s new salon which is a very different concept to his former address at Hotel Le Meurice. It’s a welcoming, relaxed environment located in the Rue Bachaumont in the second arrondissement of Paris. Christophe has created a unique and beautiful shop front with staff available to demonstrate how the products work specifically for you. I highly recommend anyone visiting Paris to indulge in the experience of a personalised treatment there. If you’re lucky you might even come across Christophe himself”.

Much like Kathy, Christophe Robin is a passionate hair colourist who cares as much about the quality of a colour as he does about the health quality of hair. All of his products are based around natural elements like prickly pear, lavender oil, and wheat germ and all are designed around how to keep colour stable.

His shampoos, conditioners and treatments are specifically designed to protect the fibre of colour treated hair. They are all PH balanced, eco-certified and formulated to nourish, moisturise, and protect hair from the wearing effects of coloured treatments.
