Crown Loves: Iles Formula

Crown Hair recently hosted creator of Iles Formula and celebrity stylist Wendy Iles at the salon for the launch of Iles Formula Haute Performance Mask. The three step range which had initially been developed for high performing and instant results on set has found its way into the bathrooms of lovers of nourished and silken hair, and Crown Hair were delighted to hear more from Wendy Iles herself.

IMG_1978Remember our introduction to Iles Formula in 2017? Here’s a refresher. Iles Formula shampoo and conditioner are both sulphate and paraben free, and whilst it’s unusual to get a lather effect from sulphate free shampoo, Wendy explained that the lather effect is derived from a potato-like, Brazilian root extract. During our hands on session, Wendy explained that adding more water to the hair during the shampoo process rather than product will create a good lather. Iles conditioner is the hero product of the range, and works to repair damaged, distressed hair and seal the cuticle layer down.

IMG_1954What about the Mask, you ask? Wendy explained that the launch of the Mask had been delayed, as she had not been happy with the formula. Originally designed to cater for coarse, middle eastern/African textured hair, suitable for weekly use, the mask works to strengthen and nourish. With ingredients such as Tucuma butter, silk proteins, Vitamin E and B5, the Iles Formula Mask is the perfect solution to hair crying out for extra TLC.

Crown Hair wishes to thank Morph Haircare, and all the salons who came along to learn more, and of course to Wendy Iles!
